Our Beliefs at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge are

We believe in one God ( Yahweh), as He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures. “Hear, O Israel, the Lord is One.”
     (Deuteronomy  6:4.)

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge that the intended meaning of this word “one”  is  found  in the original
Hebrew  text, which used the word “echad” and it means “a composite unity”.
We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge in the one living and true God (Yahweh) , perfect in wisdom, sovereignty,
holiness, justice, mercy and love     (I Timothy 1:17; Psalm 86:15; Deuteronomy 32:3–4).

He reveals himself as three, God(Yahweh) The Father (Abba), Jesus(Yahsura )and the Holy Spirit (Rouch Ha Kadosa )
who act together in creation, providence and redemption. The Holy Spirit (Rouch Ha Kadosa )is given to mankind
   upon repentance and baptism         (Acts 2:38; Genesis 1:26; Luke 3: 21–22; I Peter 1:2; Hebrews 1:1–3).

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that the Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the only

inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God (Yahweh) .

We believe Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that Scripture, is God’s (Yahweh's)  Revelation, and His complete,
      expressed will to humanity.

We believe at Sanctuary a Place of Refuge  that the entire Bible is a Revelation of the righteousness of God (Yahweh)

and the description of the lifestyle of  the redeemed  community.  Holiness and obedience to His Word to be
God’s (Yahweh's)  standard of living for His people    (Matthew 5:17–19; II Timothy 3:16–17)
Scripture is inspired in thought and word, infallible in the original writings, is the supreme and final authority in faith

and in life, and is the foundation of all truth     (  2  Timothy 3:16;)   2  Peter 1:20–21; John 10:35; 17:17)

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that Satan (Hasheton) is a spirit being who is the adversary & (once was

the Head Ark-Angel) of God  (Yahweh)  and the  children of God (Yahweh) .  Satan (Hasheton) has been given dominion
over the world for a specific period of time. Satan (Hasheton) has ruled by deception with the aid of a host of demons
who are rebellious angels, spirit beings, who followed Satan (Hasheton) in his rebellion
     (Matthew 4:1–11; Luke 8:12; 2 Timothy 2:26; John 12:31; 16:11; Revelation 12:4, 9; 20:1–3, 7, 10;

        Leviticus 16:21–22; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 11:14; Ephesians 2:2).

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God (Yahweh).

                                                                                             (Romans 3:23)
We believe that sin is the transgression of the law. The law is spiritual, perfect, holy, just and good. The law defines
God’s (Yahweh's)  love and is based upon the two great principles of  love toward God (Yahweh) and love toward
neighbor.(Others)  The Ten Commandments are the ten points & sign of God’s (Yahweh's)  law of love.
            (1 John 3:4; 5:3; Matthew 5:17–19; 19:17–19; 22:37–40;   James 2:10–11;  Romans 2:5–9; 7:12–14; 13:8–10).

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that (Yahsura) death and Resurrection accomplished the atonement for all

who would place their faith in Him. Whosoever trusts in God (Yahweh), in His work alone, is made a new creation in
Messiah, indwelt by the Spirit of God (Yahweh) , and is transferred from the kingdom  of darkness, into the kingdom
of His own Son.         (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5 & 6)

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  in the continuity of God’s (Yahweh's) covenants (Promises) with the

physical people of Israel according to Jeremiah  31:35–36 and parallel passages.  Part of the fulfillment of these
covenants is the physical return of the people of Israel, to their land.  (Deuteronomy 30).

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge that salvation is by faith through the grace of God  (Yahweh) alone, and

not by human efforts.  One may not earn, merit or keep this eternal salvation by his own efforts.  A new creation is
the work of  God (Yahweh)  alone.   (Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 8:29–39)

We believe  at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge in the spiritual unity and equality of all believers in Jesus the Messiah

    (Yahsura Ha Messiah). (Ephesians 2:11–22)
We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that the Lord Jesus Christ (Yahsura Ha Messiah) committed two
ordinances to the church: Baptism and Communion.

We believe at Sanctuary A Place of Refuge  that everyone who trusts in Yahsura (Jesus) is grafted into the

“olive tree”, and while this  does not make them Jewish, they are granted the  privilege of having God's (Yahweh's)
Word,  written upon their hearts, as participants of  the New Covenant (Promise).
                                                                                                                                (Romans 11:11–24; Jeremiah 31:33)
